Bikram Yoga is a 90 minute series of twenty-six postures and two breathing exercises in a room heated to 105° and 60% humidity. When practicing this series you systematically move fresh oxygenated blood to one hundred percent of your body: every muscle, ligament, tendon, joint, organ is refreshed. 360°. This aids the body in it’s healing process, restoring all systems to healthy working order just as nature intended. Proper weight, muscle tone, vibrant good health, and a sense of well-being will automatically follow.
|•||First time students should arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins.|
|•||Come on an empty stomach.|
|•||Avoid any sort of caffeine such as pop, coffee or tea since hydration is key.|
|•||Drink plenty of fresh water 24 hours before class to ensure you are properly hydrated.|
|•||Wear something light and fitted such as shorts, swimwear, sports bra.|
